Environmental Graphic Design at AmTab
As an environmental designer at Amtab, I've been tasked with making over all different kinds of spaces with visually pleasing graphics, tables, and paint. Graphics include window decals, signage of over 28 different kinds of materials, hanging acoustics, large vinyl pieces, floor graphics, and table laminates. Each design is tailored to the client's needs - since we mostly work with k-12 schools, most of them are school spirit based. Below are the 3D mockups of my designs, which I work closely with an interior designer to create.
Riverdale Elementary Cafeteria
Welcome to Riverdale Elementary! For this project, my inspiration was Disney cartoon shorts and kid's cartoons. The school was in the process of changing their logo, so we went with a basic cardinal and did not include specific branding other than their school name and color. The paint scheme is intended to create movement and incorporate those school colors without making the space color intense - this creates a safer, calmer environment for the children to relax in! Most of the tree graphics are acoustic material so that they may be used as pin boards; this was intentional as the space prior to my design had many notes and posters taped on the walls. The vinyl wraps on the columns are to represent bird feathers, to go along with the Cardinals theme. This project was awarded top 5 designs of the month in our company!

DUNCAN HIGH Commons

Another top 5 project of the month, Duncan High was a very fun project for me. This particular room is the commons area for their gym - they specifically wanted to be extremely school spirited as this area is mostly used for family and visitors during school sporting events. Being the Demons, I incorporated elements of fire and smoke along with their Demon mascot to create a devilishly dynamic space that any high school student would be excited to take their Instagram photos in. I included acoustic pin boards, their school motto, "Truth, Honor, Wisdom," and an LED lit sign with their logo. We also created custom table laminates for them that continue the abstract smoke and fire elements that were used throughout the space.

Lewis & Clark Elementary Cafeteria
At Lewis & Clark Elementary, everyone is an explorer! I wanted to make sure that the kids felt a sense of whimsy in this cafeteria, so I included several mixed material landscapes and tiny detail designs that were extra fun for explorers of every age. Incorporating the school logo into window graphics that would be read from outside the building, and nature elements throughout the room, the design was completed with the addition of two large custom pin boards and a wipe erase board - all camper themed!

Custom Table Laminates
Custom table laminates are one of AmTab's staple offerings. I pride myself on my ability to design each laminate based on the school's desired needs as well as incorporating our special shapes into the designs. Each table laminate below was created with school spirit in mind, as well as the students who would be using them every day.
